Power BI Core Skills (1 day)

Power BI is the latest tooling for self-service analysis and reporting from Microsoft. This course is designed to help you to understand the tools, show you how to use Power BI Desktop to retrieve and transform data (Power Query), create and enhance a data model (using Power Pivot), deploy data models and reports, and create and query dashboards (using the Power BI site). It is delivered with just the right amount of depth, within a single day.

The course is most suitable for users that need to learn to work with the Microsoft Power BI platform or for existing IT professionals that want to cross-train into BI work. The course can also help business analysts and project managers that need a solid understanding of the technologies involved. Both high level and detailed click by click instructions are provided for all practical lab work.

Our courses are based on the latest available versions of Power BI. The focus of the course and of the labs is on acquiring and shaping data, and on creating reports from the data. A demonstration of the capabilities that are provided by using Power BI online and on mobile devices like iPhones is also provided.
